Cellulose is a major structural carbohydrate that is present in plant cell walls. Cellulose is a major component of all fiber-rich feed materials including forage and important agricultural process refuse, such as cane sugar bagasse. Cellulose is digested by ruminants thanks to enzyme produced by some cellulolytic bacteria.
