A blend of raw materials that has been ground, conditioned and pressed into uniform pellets. The pellets may have a diameter of 1,5-19 mm and an average length of approximately 2,5 times their diameter, depending on their intended use. Smaller pellets are used for young animals and smaller species, larger ones for animals fed directly on the ground.
